Kayla is a yoga teacher, plant-based Chef, wannabe writer, seeker of true health, and sun worshiper based out of Orange County, Ca. After taking a few years off from competitive dance she found yoga at 18 and was then instantly hooked taking up a religious daily practice. After a couple years of dedicated practice Kayla decided to take time off from college pursuing a career in nutritional sciences to do her 200 hr. yoga teacher training. One training segued into another and she has now completed 500 hrs. of training, giving her a RYT-500 certification through Yoga Alliance; She has now trained with and worked alongside some of the most accomplished teachers in the yoga community and you can catch her practicing in online classes on Udaya.com. Nutrition being an additional passion Kayla decided to pursue a career as a health supportive chef and made the move to Austin, Tx to attend The Natural Epicurean for it’s one of a kind plant based, health supporting curriculum. After completing culinary school her mission became providing clients with delicious plant-based cuisine and safe, effective yoga classes. In addition to her regular class schedule, she has assisted several yoga teacher trainings and cooked for yoga retreats both domestic and international. A believer that optimal health is an achievable goal for everyone Kayla combines the principles of yoga, mindfulness and nourishing plant based food to maintain the health of her clients.
